Truthiness and Jewishness by colourscientist Truthiness and Jewishness by colourscientist
Um, yeah. Meant to be Sir Dr Stephen T. Colbert, DFA and his Jewish friend/colleague/pimp, Jon Stewart. (They're also the guys 'bonding' over pizza in my current webcam xD) But the likenesses are... really awful. I think. I can't tell anymore, I've looked at this and fixed up errors over and over. I'm just gonna use the fact that I've not drawn them much (or in Jon's case, ever) as my excuse >.>

Anyway, the Colbert Report and The Daily Show are my favourite viewing right now. I saw this disturbingly hot sketch on pay TV and got hooked on the Colbert Report in 2008. I at first thought Jon Stewart was unfunny and did bad impressions and nothing else. Then I watched some clips online and learned how very wrong I was. I started watching the Daily Show late last year. I'm kind of sad I've missed out on so much of these shows (Steve Carell was on TDS?!) but at least they're getting better and better (minotaur fights and ascots!)

Any crits accepted, may scrap later if I begin hating it a lot.

I LOVE that title! It's perfect! But as for the drawing, it's a great start, just keep practicing. Jon's face is just a bit wider, Stephen's nose isn't quite that prominent, etc. Maybe try practicing with profile views first, using references. You've been catching up on the great TDS stuff online right? Like the best moment of Zen ever: [link] ? Keep practicing, and good luck! :w00t:

I think you're right on, especially about Stephen's nose. Thanks for the crit!

And yes I have seen that Moment of Zen, but it is always worth a re-watch xD

I could tell it was Colbert right away and thus automatically knew the other was Jstew (Lol, I hope people don't really call him that, it just popped out. Whups.)

But I reckon it's pretty darn good for not drawing them much-- they don't have super distinctive faces so I'm sure it's pretty tricky. I really like the way you did their necks, that's one of my favorite parts, aside from the lovely clean rendering :)

Thanks! I guess you're right about their not-so-distinctive faces. Drawing them made me realise what a gift a nose like Noel Fielding's is to draw, haha.

Haha, seriously! I have a way easier time with cartoonish features than "reasonable" ones :]
